Low Testosterone? – Be Cool

It a bit of a cold slap in the face when your doctor tells you, “you have low testosterone levels”.   It just eats at one a bit.  The thing is you need to do the man thing at times like that and be cool.

Low testosterone is a growing concern among both men and women.  Those who have low testosterone levels can experience chronic fatigue and this leads to a loss of well-being.  Get yourself tested if you think you have a problem, it is a simple test to do and then you have a baseline to work from, retest every 3 months to measure results.

The answer lies in natural cures not a quick fix like a steroid injection. These synthetic hormone treatments lower your HDL (Good) cholesterol and may lead to strokes.   Natural does not always mean slow, many people notice an improvement within a 2-3 days but for real lasting results a lifestyle change is required.

What does testosterone do?

Well you know that it is a hormone that defines manhood.  What you may not know is that it plays a role in muscle mass, energy levels, bone density, sleep, red blood cell count and is even involved in your body’s responses to stimuli like pain.

Low testosterone is a symptom of aging but this process can be hastened if you are overweight, have low levels of vitamin D and have an imbalance in your gut microflora.  Nutrition and stress are further factors.  The use of statin prescription medicine is well documented as a cause of low testosterone.

So go Natural

    • Ginseng: can increase testosterone levels naturally, it has been doing it for people in the East for decades so why not get some ginseng tea and sip away.
    • Boron: The rumors are true...boron increases natural free testosterone.  You need to take 10mg per day.  It is one of the most natural yet effective remedies.  Here is a link to a study that proves it.
    • Vitamin D3 can make a dramatic difference, especially if you have a deficiency. Use a quality supplement with at least 5000 IUs of vitamin D3 a day.  Just to boost it a bit make sure to get 30 minutes of sunlight on your skin.
    • Zinc: Get zinc supplements, about 50mg per day.  Zinc helps to regulate serum testosterone levels in men. (It is also important for prostate health)
    • Magnesium: Our glands use magnesium produce testosterone, so get a supplement, 250mg per day.
    • Cholesterol:  Our Leydig cells need cholesterol to make testosterone.
    • Protein and Fat: Increase your good fat and protein intake, good quality organic eggs do the job.
    • Vitamin B6: This vitamin help to suppress the synthesis of estrogen in the body.  That in turn  helps testosterone levels to rise.
    • Quality Time:  You know what I mean, you need to speak to your partner about getting more time to do the business.  You have the perfect excuse now.  Show her your test results and get busy.
    • Hydrotherapy:  Yes you know it is important.  The contrast shower, hot for 2 minutes then cold for 30 seconds.  Cycle it 5 times always ending on cold.  It is very effective.

  • Sugar:  Sugar is to be avoided at all cost. Sugar is possibly the number 1 reason why we have a low testosterone epidemic in the first place.
  • Estrogen:   Foods like broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage  help boost T levels by removing estrogens in our body.  Estrogen lowers testosterone levels.
  • Diets:  Avoid low fat diets, these decrease testosterone levels.  Don’t go crazy with this just eat healthy fats like coconut oil and omegas.
  • Caffeine: Use caffeine in moderation and limit it to the mornings only.  It is real simple caffeine increases cortisol which in turn decreases testosterone.
  • Medication:  If you are using opioid drugs such as fentanyl, Ms Contin and OxyContin or Glucocorticoid drugs such as prednisone ask your doctor to work his mental muscles and come up with an alternative if possible.  Anabolic steroids are also to be avoided if possible.  If you can not avoid the meds you will need to double down on the other points to get a good result.

Remember to apply the 8 natural laws of health and this problem should soon be a thing of the past.  Just do the man thing, be cool and just do it.  You know you can.
